Last week we had a surprise in our back yard. There were about 10 cows chowing down on the lush green grass in the park behind our house. Katrina ran up to one of the cows excited to interact with it, just like the cows at the petting farm. The cow lifted its head and gave her a look that could have killed flies, like "don't even think about it." I'm yelling at her from the back porch like a crazy Mom. And she is standing there having a staring contest with this Mama cow. Katrina finally backed down from the staring contest and came back to safety.
The next morning they were still there in the park and on the Jordan River trail. I was scared somebody was going to get kicked. In Lehi, the police are animal control. A few hours after I called the police, the cows were gone. I don't know how they did it, but they did. Way to go Lehi Police!
